We know that education is key to moving forward in protecting children from sexual predators and helping survivors of begin their healing process. For these reasons we have tried to provide a thorough list of resources as tools for understanding abuse and taking measures to prevent it.

The following are a combination of sites we know and/or work with professionally, as well as some that we have found to have material to aid survivors.

https://www.snapnetwork.org/ - SNAP - Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests -  We are SNAP, the largest, oldest and most active support group for women and men wounded by religious and institutional authorities (priests, ministers, bishops, deacons, nuns, coaches, teachers, and others). 

www.netgrace.org - GRACE - Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment  

This heart is at the core of GRACE’s mission: to empower Christian communities to recognize, prevent, and respond to abuse. The early Church, so close to the time of Christ, played a central role in ending many abusive practices that were prevalent at that time. We believe the Church today is called to take up that mantle once again and be a safe haven for children and all who are vulnerable.

www.1in6.org - The mission of 1in6 is to help men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences live healthier, happier lives.

Our mission also includes serving family members, friends, partners, and service providers by providing information and support resources on the web and in the community.

www.livingwell.org.au -  Living Well is dedicated to the provision of a supportive, accessible, respectful, service to men who have experienced child sexual abuse or sexual assault, to partners, friends, family and service providers.

www.survivorsuk.org -  SurvivorsUK’s strategy sets out our vision and values, and outlines our ambitious plan to expand our specialist services and awareness raising activities in the next 5 years, to support even more boys and men who have been raped and sexually abused.

https://baptistaccountability.org/ - While this database was inspired by SBC abuse, we have opened it to include Baptists of all flavors, not just SBC. If a perpetrator has any ties to a Baptist church or organization of any kind, you may submit them here. 

http://stopbaptistpredators.org/ -  This "little light" shines for the many clergy abuse victims whose voices have been silenced. Silenced by shame. Silenced by the false instruction of religious leaders. Silenced by church shunning and bullying. Silenced by church contracts for secrecy. Silenced by suicide. The mission of StopBaptistPredators.org is to break the silence of Baptist clergy sex abuse.

www.rainn.org - RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE, online.rainn.org  rainn.org/es) in partnership with more than 1,000 local sexual assault service providers across the country and operates the DoD Safe Helpline for the Department of Defense. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence, help survivors, and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.

Our child sexual abuse lawyers have extensive experience advocating for survivors of sexual abuse, exploitation, and rape. We are dedicated to helping sex abuse victims of these horrible crimes heal the wounds of their abuse by empowering them through the legal process.

As with Boz, we at Together We Heal, have known Jeff Herman for many years. We've stood side by side working to expose sexual predators in the church. Herman Law is another name you can trust as a survivor of sexual abuse.

www.stopitnow.org - Stop It Now! was founded by Fran Henry, a survivor of childhood sexual abuse who learned first hand that standard approaches to keeping children safe from child sexual abuse at that time did not respond to the complex relationships surrounding most abuse. www.survivorschat.com - We are a site dedicated to survivors of rape, incest and abuse whether sexual, physical, emotional, mental, psychological, verbal, RA or SRA. This is a place where survivors can come together to help each other, support each other, or just pass the time. We are DID-friendly; alters (whether adults or "littles") are welcome here.

www.childhelp.org - Every year more than 3 million reports of child abuse are made in the United States. It’s a terrible epidemic that we at Childhelp are dedicated to put an end to. To do this, we need to first increase awareness of the issue itself.
